Not only have I made friends with 2 girls from the US Virgin Islands in the last couple of months, I am now friends with another racer from the tropical Caribbean - "Jamaican Mike" who we met when he came to race in Shiga Kogen. Interestingly, Mike said that he was really excited to meet me because he saw my fall in the GS at the World Championships in Schladming and read the blog on my website which he has visited several times since!!!!
